What’s new in Hearth

Shop by room, search panel and availability

Built after the latest packaged version. Not yet in a released version.

• A shop-by-room menu: a header menu item opens a room panel with collections for each room. It works by keyboard and without JavaScript.
• The search panel shows menu links and the first 4 products of a collection before the customer types.
• A new “Shop by” section with rows of image links, for example by room or material.
• An availability product block: In stock, Made to order, On backorder or Sold out, with the lead time.
• German, Spanish, French and Italian translations for the new storefront text.

QA corrections

• Navigation panels fit the screen and scroll when they are tall.
• Quick view works on cards that load later, centres its dialog and returns focus.
• The fit calculator reports invalid dimensions and converts inches, centimetres and millimetres.
• Gift notes depend on gift wrapping when the store offers it.
• The mobile menu drawer slides in and out. Reduced motion keeps an instant toggle.

Duotone gallery home

Built after the latest packaged version. Not yet in a released version.

• The Hearth preset home is a duotone gallery: black-and-white photography in a magazine grid with captions.
• New Slideshow and Duotone gallery sections. The image banner gains an optional duotone treatment.
• No animation library ships with the theme.
