Ritual is configured for a skincare or cosmetics brand end to end: build the routine, match the skin, add it all at once, and bring the customer back for the refill.
The routine builder page groups products into a ready-made morning or evening routine, built on the routine builder page template.
Key ingredients, skin type and how-to-use come from ritual.* metafields on every product page.
The whole routine adds to cart together, with a running total shown before the tap, not after.
Subscribe and save through real Shopify selling plans, plus a "lasts about" note and refill promise band, bring the customer back.
Built for repeat purchase
Ingredient transparency, an honest replenishment estimate and a real subscription discount are first-class product-page and cart features, not afterthoughts bolted on with apps.

The storefront system
Ritual ships with the routine, subscription and ingredient details specific to the category, wrapped in a considered blush, mauve and rose preset.
Built on real Shopify selling plans — Ritual surfaces the plan, shows the saving and adds to cart with the chosen plan in one tap. The theme prices and displays the plan; Shopify still owns the subscription billing.
Add a whole morning or evening routine to the cart in one tap, with a running total shown as products are chosen.
Key ingredients, skin type and how-to-use display straight from ritual.* metafields — no duplicate content to maintain.
An editable per-product estimate of how long the product lasts, shown on the product page to set the right reorder expectation.
An editable-column band restating the refill discount, shipping and reminder terms where a returning buyer looks for them.
A considered beauty palette with Cormorant headings, Karla body text and pill buttons throughout.
You sell skincare or cosmetics where products are used together as a routine.
Ingredient transparency and skin-type fit are part of how customers choose a product.
Repeat purchase and subscribe-and-save are meaningful parts of the business.
You already use, or plan to use, Shopify selling plans for subscriptions.
Ritual is built, theme-checked clean, and live on a real demo store today. It is not yet submitted to the Shopify Theme Store, so it is currently licensed directly rather than installed by a merchant from the Theme Store.

Questions before you commit
No. It runs on Shopify’s own selling plans — a native Shopify commerce primitive, not something this theme invents. Ritual surfaces the plans you configure and shows the saving on the product page; it does not create or bill the subscription itself, so your existing selling-plan setup (or Shopify’s own subscriptions tooling) still owns the billing.
Yes. The routine builder lists each product in the routine with its own price, and a shopper can drop an item out before the one-tap add — the running total updates as they do, so nothing is added they didn’t choose.
It is an editable ritual.* metafield you set per product — for example from fill weight and a typical daily-use estimate — rather than a figure the theme derives automatically from order history. That keeps the claim accurate to how the product is actually formulated and used.
Not yet. Ritual is built, theme-checked clean, and live on a real demo store today — see the link above. What is not done yet is Shopify Theme Store submission, so it is currently licensed directly rather than installed by a merchant from the Theme Store.
The ritual.* metafields for key ingredients, skin type, how-to-use and the "lasts about" estimate need populating per product, and selling plans need creating for anything sold as subscribe and save. The Happify Beauty Kit sets both up as part of onboarding.
