What’s new in Specra

Star rating, scoped search, stock and dispatch, announcement bar

Built after the latest packaged version. Not yet in a released version.

• A star rating block and card setting, read from the standard Shopify review metafields.
• The header search can scope results by product type, and shows menu links and up to 4 products before the customer types.
• Stock and dispatch settings: low-stock thresholds and a daily dispatch cut-off countdown in the store’s time zone.
• An announcement bar in every preset’s header, with a pause button.
• Fixed: a slideshow setting label was too long, so a fresh upload of the theme failed.

Technical catalogue home

Built after the latest packaged version. Not yet in a released version.

• The Specra preset home is a technical catalogue: a headline-figure strip, a numbered category index and a spec column beside a dense model list.
• The slideshow cross-fades in CSS, has a visible pause button and never autoplays for reduced motion.
• No added font or animation library.

Version 1.0.0 · Launch version

• Five presets for electronics and technical equipment: Specra, Socket, Benchline, Overclock and Waveform.
• Structured specifications, product comparison, compatibility guidance and accessory recommendations.
• Product pages support technical media, quick add, image zoom and inventory-based pre-order messaging.
• Collection and search filtering, cart drawer, order notes, predictive search and localization controls.

The theme does not change checkout payment timing. Pre-order deposits need Shopify or an app.
