Set up Delivery Rates by Zip

Happify Delivery Rates by Zip is installed from Shopify and billed by Shopify. When you install it, Shopify asks you to approve these permissions. Each one is used only for the reason shown.

None. The app has no order or customer access and does not need protected customer data approval.

1. Check your Shopify plan has carrier-calculated shipping.
2. Install the app and choose a plan. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial billed by Shopify.
3. Open Settings › Checkout connection and click “Connect to checkout” if it is not connected.
4. If you see “Add Zones rates to a shipping profile”, go to Shipping and delivery in Shopify admin, open the profile, choose Add rate › Use carrier or app to calculate rates, and pick Happify Zones.
5. Create your first zone on Zones, then place a test checkout inside and outside it.

Each zone has a name, active switch, countries, exact postcodes, postcode prefixes, an optional centre and radius (used only when Shopify supplies coordinates), an optional Shopify location (Pro), a rate name, amount and description, and an optional free-over amount.

• Import zones from CSV: the preview shows created and updated counts, warnings and conflicts before you save.
• “Add city presets” adds starter postcode zones for some US and Indian cities.
• Pause a zone to take it off checkout without deleting it.

In Settings choose “Show Shopify’s own shipping rates” (default) or “Block checkout with a message”. Saving publishes to live checkout, so the app asks you to confirm.

Blocking uses the app’s checkout validation (“Happify Zones address check”). In Shopify admin go to Settings › Checkout › Checkout rules, add it and turn it on. The app does not do this step for you.

Rate templates add rules by weight, order value, item count or product tag. Schedules set delivery days, a same-day cut-off, lead days, time windows and blackout dates. Time windows are shown in the rate description at checkout.

• Coverage (Advanced) lists zones from the lowest rate to the highest. Lower plans see a preview.
• Rate tester (Pro) prices any address and explains each rule, surcharge and threshold applied.
• History (Pro) keeps saved versions of your zones and restores any of them. Lower plans see the three latest saves without restore.

Add the “Delivery zones message” app block in the theme editor to tell shoppers delivery is checked at checkout. The text is what you type.

• No zone rate at checkout: confirm carrier-calculated shipping is on your plan and the Happify Zones rate is in the shipping profile for those products.
• Out-of-zone addresses are not blocked: turn on the checkout rule in Settings › Checkout.
• A radius zone never matches: Shopify only sometimes sends destination coordinates, so use postcodes or prefixes as well.

Prices are in US dollars per month, billed by Shopify. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial, and you can change or cancel the plan from the app at any time.

Uninstall from Settings › Apps and sales channels in Shopify admin. Uninstalling cancels the subscription and stops syncing straight away.

• Remove the Happify Zones rate from your shipping profiles and the checkout rule from Settings › Checkout if they are still listed.
• Remove the “Delivery zones message” block from your theme if you added it.

Shopify asks us to delete your store’s data 48 hours after uninstall, and we delete it then. The privacy page for this app lists exactly what is stored and what is deleted.
