- Where do delivery dates and time slots come from?
- From order attributes written by your delivery date app. In Settings you list the attribute names to read; “delivery date”, “delivery_date” and “date”, and “delivery time”, “time slot”, “timeslot” and “slot” are filled in by default.
- Do drivers need an account?
- No. On Advanced you send a secure link that expires after the number of days you set (7 by default). It stops working early if you cancel the run. There is no per-driver fee.
- What does a driver see?
- The run name, driver and vehicle, and for each stop the customer name, phone, email, address, items and notes. Your store’s internal ids are left out.
- Can it notify my customers?
- On Pro, dispatching a run can create an out-for-delivery update in Shopify with customer notification turned on, and completing it marks the same fulfillment delivered. Messages are sent by Shopify, not by the app.
- Can I group runs by delivery zone?
- Yes, on Advanced, when Happify Delivery Rates by Zip is installed on the same store. Choose zones as the grouping in Settings.
- What does my customer see when I mark an order delivered?
- The app fulfils the order’s local delivery and records Shopify’s Delivered status on it, so the order status page shows Delivered and Shopify sends its delivered notification if you have it turned on. Marking the same order again does nothing more.
- What about orders that mix local delivery and pickup?
- Only the local delivery part goes on the sheet, the packing list and the driver run, and only that part is marked delivered. The pickup items stay open for you to mark ready for pickup in Shopify.
- Does it plan the fastest route?
- No. Stops are grouped and you can reorder them by hand, but the app does not optimise routes or track drivers.
- What is proof of delivery?
- On Pro, the driver page records delivered, attempted, failed or rescheduled, with an optional photo (up to 10 MB) and a signature.
- How much does it cost?
- Basic $9.99, Advanced $14.99, Pro $29.99 per month, each with a 7-day free trial, billed by Shopify.
